SHE LIVES A LONELY LIFE

The mask projects I developed in Vienna and Zurich engage with the idea of identity, transformation, and social roles through the use of costume design and performance. Masks have long been used in various cultures for rituals, celebrations, and theatrical performances, often serving as tools to reveal hidden layers of human nature or societal structures. In these projects, I explore how masks can function as metaphors for the multiple personas individuals adopt in different contexts, especially within urban environments.

Both projects are rooted in my ongoing interest in how costumes and masks can serve as powerful tools for self-exploration and critique of social systems. The masks I created function not only as decorative or performative objects but as symbols of the complex, often contradictory roles we inhabit in different aspects of our lives.
