LOCATION SCOUTING

The "Location Scouting" ongoing project reflects a deep engagement with the act of exploration and the significance of place in artistic inspiration. As a visual artist and scenographer, my practice revolves around finding, often overlooked spaces that carry a particular energy or atmosphere, using these locations as a canvas for creative thought.

By visiting abandoned or unusual sites, I capture fragments of history, architecture, and nature, which later inform  my  artistic  work.

The locations themselves act as a form of visual research. The photographs document my physical and emotional journey through these spaces, where the environment serves as both subject and muse. These places become a part of my conceptual process, allowing the textures, colors, and forms of the surroundings to influence my future projects.

The locations also carry narratives of their own, whether through decay, transformation, or isolation, reflecting themes present in my artistic practice, such as solitude, memory, and the passage of time.
