EXPORT

EXPORT explores the cultural and personal narratives woven into everyday life and culminated in a public performance. Each bag serves as a symbol of the weight of memories, heritage, and stories.

EXPORT is a spontaneous walk that uses the urban street as its stage and passers as random participants. There is no predefined audience - only the city itself and its inhabitants, whose unexpected movements and presences shape the performance in real time. Through this choreography of everyday life, the work explores how individual and collective histories intersect in public space, how routine paths carry memory, and how chance encounters can reveal unseen social patterns.

The tension highlights the struggle and persistence found in daily tasks, while celebrating the beauty in resilience and repetition.

Export is created in Shanghai during the “Swatch Art Peace” Artist Residency after long research and traveling in small villages in the south of China.
